The South Central Texas Area Health Education Center, Inc. (SC-AHEC) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to workforce development and community engagement within a 12-county region in South Central Texas. We aim to improve the health of communities by cultivating a diverse healthcare workforce and engaging communities to become vital partners in research.
